Rocking out

Some friends recently let us have their old nursery glider and ottoman. It's been passed down a few times (comfortably worn in I think) and the ottoman needs a new cushion (I can totally solve that). It reclines and has a brake on it to prevent accidents.

The reason I am so thrilled (besides that it was free) is that Lucas has had a very hard time sleeping lately. Now that I have this glider I can help him get the sleep he needs. I rock him while talking to him until he relaxes and then I lay him down so he can better put himself to sleep.

It's a win-win. He sleeps well, and we get to spend a little quiet time together :)
