Our little guy is now 11 months old. After all the concern over his delays because of his height and weight, he is finally caught up developmentally. In the last month he has learned to scoot, rollover, sit up, lay down, pull up onto his feet, and crawl. All of this change has made it harder for him to rest, so he's been relearning to put himself to sleep again. We had to spend three nights rocking him to help him relax and prepare for sleep.
His acid reflux seems to be going away since he no longer spits up or is complaining of gut pain anymore. It's almost time to wean him from the bottle, which shouldn't be too hard now that he's getting good with a soft-tipped sippy cup. Because he is still sensitive to cows milk, I may have to give him goats milk instead. He's still not self-feeding well quite yet, but he's not a picky eater either; so I'll not complain :) He has 4 teeth and I think a fifth is on the way.
Our busy boy is into everything now. I have put up safety gates and put things where he can't touch them. He just scoots all over the house and explores tirelessly. If is isn't nap time or meal time, he is on the move. When he can't have something he bounces up and down and cries (it's really cute) or throws his hand up in the air and then moves onto something else.
He's well on his way to toddlerhood and new adventures!
